Dundee United must travel to Scottish Premier League new boys Partick Thistle on the opening day of the season on Saturday, August 3.

Jackie McNamara's United open season in Partick

Jackie McNamara will face his old employers at Firhill before hosting Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Tannadice on August 10.

United welcome closest geographical rivals, after Dundee's demotion, St Johnstone on August 24 and travel to face Perth's Saints on December 29 three days after playing St Mirren in Paisley.

The Terrors host Aberdeen on New Year's Day and wrap up their domestic season ahead of the split at Celtic Park on April 5 following the trip to Pittodrie on March 29.
