Stephen McManus: In talks with Motherwell

McManus has been training with Stuart McCall's squad this summer following his release from Middlesbrough.

The 30-year-old is a free agent after his contract with the Championship club expired at the end of last season.

McManus, who played his last match for Boro in March, had previously spent two spells on loan with Bristol City.

The former Celtic defender had also been linked with Hibernian but Motherwell are hoping to win the race for his signature.
