Clement Grenier: Set to sign a new deal at Lyon

Arsenal have been linked with a move for the French international with Arsene Wenger thought to be a big admirer of the midfielder.

Grenier is regarded as one of the best young players in France and recently won his first cap for Les Bleus.

Grenier is entering the final year of his contract at Lyon, but club president Jean-Michel Aulas is confident the 22-year-old will pledge his long-term future to the French club.

"Grenier will be here next year, we're looking at a one-year extension, perhaps more," Aulas told L'Equipe.
