Hernanes: Generating plenty of interest in summer transfer window

The 28-year-old midfielder, who has been in Italy since 2010, enjoyed a standout season in Serie A last term.

The Brazil international provided a career-high return of 14 goals in all competitions and is now reported to be generating interest from Milan giants AC and Inter, as well as ambitious French outfit Paris St Germain.

His involvement at the Confederations Cup this summer has ensured that no deal has been put in place as yet, and Lazio are reluctant to sell.

Hernanes concedes that he does not know where he will start the 2013/14 campaign, as speculation as to his next move intensifies, but is happy to return to Rome until any issues regarding his future are resolved.

He told Globo: "I'll be going back to Lazio. Only time will tell what happens next.

"However, I will be returning to training with Lazio very soon."
