Salomon Kalou: Happy at Lille amid links to the Premier League

The Ivory Coast international moved to Lille in 2012 as a free agent, scoring 14 goals in his first season there.

Both West Ham and West Brom are said to have been chasing the former Chelsea man this summer, but he says he wants to stay in France.

"I am definitely happy in French football," said Kalou.

"I take a lot of pleasure playing here in France.

"I did struggle to settle in the first place, but nowadays I am very happy to play week in, week out."
