Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa: Wanted back at Montpellier

The 24-year-old was recently dropped in favour of Mike Williamson after a poor showing for Newcastle in the 3-2 defeat at Everton.

Now Nicollin says he feels for his former captain, but believes he will one day return to the Stade de la Mosson.

"I'm sorry for him," Nicollin is quoted by L'Equipe.

"I love him a lot. He has followed the advice of his agent and he was wrong to leave.

"But don't worry, he'll come back to Montpellier."
