The much-travelled striker is currently on the books of Kuban Krasnodar.

The 32-year-old signed a one-year contract in July, but he may not see that agreement out.

A loan switch in January is being mooted, and Bastia are leading the chase.

Cisse admits he would be willing to head home and says informal discussions have already been held with a number of Ligue 1 outfits.

He told Canal Football Club: "My agent has been in touch with Bastia and other French clubs.

"I want to come back to France. There has been contact with Bastia."
