Damiao currently plays in Brazil with Internacional and he has attracted interest from across Europe with Tottenham reported to have been chasing him in recent transfer windows.

Marseille are the latest club to be linked with the 23-year-old and his agent Vinicius Prates admitted that he admires the Ligue 1 side.

"I haven't been contacted by Marseille, the club's board have not many any offer for my client. However, Marseille are a great club and the standard of life is good in France," he told Brazilian website Sambafoot.

"Besides, the French league has become very competitive with great clubs such as Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain and now Monaco.

"I think Marseille would be an interesting club for Leandro Damiao, especially since there is still nothing done with Tottenham."
