Bafetimbi Gomis: Heading for the Lyon exit

The 28-year-old, who has been the subject of interest from Marseille and Premier League side Newcastle in recent transfer windows, gave the strongest indication yet that he will not be a Lyon player next term.

He told RMC: "I think at the end of the season, it's time for me to go elsewhere."

The Frenchman could still leave Lyon in the January transfer window if the club are keen to stop him leaving on a free transfer in the summer.
