Harry Redknapp: Frustrated with transfers

Inter Milan striker Belfodil, who was also targeted for West Ham and West Brom too, opted to stay in Ialy with Livorno.

Likewise, Ntep remained in France signing for Rennes rather than move to Loftus Road.

QPR did manage to land Kevin Doyle, Will Keane and Modibo Maiga on deadline day, but Redknapp regrets not getting his main targets.

"Everything we did in the transfer window was a gamble," said Redknapp.

"We thought we had the boy from Milan coming and the left-winger from Auxerre who looked like a world-beater - and suddenly they don't come, and then you're left scrambling about."
