Ezequiel Lavezzi: A summer return to Napoli has not been ruled out

Speculation has suggested that a man who left Serie A for France last summer could soon be heading back to Naples.

Lavezzi has enjoyed his debut season in Paris, with a productive campaign set to bring a Ligue 1 title success and a run in Europe which saw PSG reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

The Argentina international is, however, leaving the door open to a possible reunion with Napoli once the transfer window re-opens.

His representative Alejandro Mazzoni told Radio Kiss Kiss: "He is fine in France, but it is true that he misses Italian football and especially Naples.

"A return to Napoli? Sure, it is one of the alternatives for Lavezzi because Napoli were very important in his life and he would definitely like to return to play there.

"But this is Lavezzi's first season at Paris St Germain and hopefully it will end with the title. He has risen to the occasion and enjoyed a good run in the Champions League.

"(Carlo) Ancelotti's future is not related to Lavezzi's."

However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.
