Mamadou Sakho: Laurent Blanc hopes he will remain part of the set-up at PSG

Sakho has aired his frustration at a lack of playing time at Parc des Princes, with PSG having flexed their financial muscles to bring in added competition for places.

Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions in the wake of Edinson Cavani's arrival, with Real Madrid and various clubs in Italy said to be keen on the Swedish striker.

Verratti, meanwhile, is said to be a target for Fiorentina, with the Serie A outfit keen to return the Italy international to his homeland.

Blanc, though, has no intention of sanctioning sales, with there a desire on his part to work with the strongest possible squad in 2013/14.

On Sakho, who has been linked with Liverpool, he said: "I had a talk with Mamadou, which he asked for.

"Everything is very clear. If PSG are to become a great club, players have to understand that there will be great players in every position. It is then a competition to become a first team member. I believe Mamadou is receptive to that."

On Ibrahimovic, he added: "Rumours about Ibrahimovic going will go on until the end of the summer window, just like they will for Thiago Silva.

"I am sure he will stay. That is what he has told me. He can complement Edinson Cavani well. Then it will be about managing egos."

Finally, on Verratti, Blanc said: "I have no doubt he will stay. I have spoken with him and I consider him to be part of PSG this season.

"There are many rumours but he has a contract and I don't think he will leave Paris. I like him a lot as a player and I don't think he would want to leave."

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
