Paul Pogba: To be offered new deal

The French starlet has emerged as one of the best young midfielders in Europe since opting to leave Manchester United for Juve in 2012.

Pogba has two years left on his current deal, but Juve are looking to extend this to ward off strong interest emanating from around Europe.

Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid and Arsenal are amongst the clubs reportedly ready to test Juve's resolve, whilst even his former employers United have been linked.

But Marotta remains calm and told RaiDue: "Pogba is a very good football player and so the eyes of big clubs are on him, but we don't want to sell him.

"We will soon talk with his agent about his contract too."

Marotta was also asked about the futures of veteran midfielder Andrea Pirlo and coach Antonio Conte.

"Pirlo has a contract expiring in June, but the relationship between him and the club are excellent and very soon he will extend the agreement," he said.

"The Conte cycle with Juve can also last in the long term."

Marotta says the club are not looking to do much in the January window, either in or out.

"Vucinic to leave? We don't want to give anyone in January. (Parma's Jonathan) Biabiany and (PSG's Jeremy) Menez? They are very good players but we are not seeking players like them, the group is strong. We are not particularly interested in the January market."

I

expect Pulis to have a nice Christmas dinner with his family- probably all sitting around the table wearing Christmas themed baseball caps, before he gets the call. Realistically he could end up at any number of clubs, it'll be interesting to see which club folds first.

A

s a Liverpool fan, I personally hate Palace. My pick would probably be Arsenal, which is funny because it seems the vast majority of their own fans don't even like them right now.
