Lionel Messi: Likely to return to play against Bayern Munich

The Argentina superstar has missed Barca's last three Primera Division matches as the Catalan giants decided not to take any unnecessary risks with the hamstring problem Messi sustained in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Messi, who featured as a substitute in the second leg against PSG, trained normally on Sunday morning and, even though he is still waiting for the green light from Barca's medical team to resume playing, he has been included in Tito Vilanova's 21-man travelling party for Tuesday's trip to Bayern.

The only players missing from the squad are injured defenders Carles Puyol and Javier Mascherano plus the suspended Adriano.
