Cesc Fabregas: Being linked with a summer return to Arsenal

Having struggled to hold down a regular role at Camp Nou under Tito Vilanova this season, it has been suggested that the Spain international will consider his options once the 2012/13 campaign comes to a close.

Fabregas has stopped short of rubbishing such reports, but has offered no indication that he is thinking about a move.

Were he to open that particular door, former employers Arsenal are said to be waiting in the wings.

The Gunners reluctantly offloaded the 25-year-old to Barca in 2011 after helping him develop into a European Championship and World Cup winner.

They would welcome the opportunity to bring Fabregas back to England, but the midfielder is giving little away with the transfer window still closed.

"I do not know what is being said and even what is written," he told Cadena Cope.

"I can only say that I alone know my own future."

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)

really hope that someone in the mainstream media spots that the Bayern manager played for and managed Barcelona quite well, and thinks to mention it in the build up. That would be really interesting.
