Starlet eyes Barca move

Boca Juniors youngster Tiago Casasola is hopeful that he can seal a move to Barcelona this summer.

Last Updated: 24/06/13 at 16:52 Post Comment

Barcelona tried to sign the 17-year-old last summer but he opted to join Boca's Academy instead from Argentine lower division side Huracan.

The Spanish champions have maintained their interest in the young defender though and appear ready to make a second attempt to sign him.

Should he make the move to Catalonia he would join the Barcelona B side, which plays in Spain's Segunda Division.

"I hope that my transfer to Barcelona gets done," he told Patria Quemera. "It would be an incredible step forward for me and my career."
