Lionel Messi: Has expressed no desire to see his salary increased

Reports have suggested that Messi is looking to be offered an improved salary on the back of Cristiano Ronaldo's lucrative contract extension at Real Madrid.

The Portuguese forward is now the highest-paid player in world football, and Barca were warned to brace themselves for a meeting with Messi.

Rosell is adamant, though, that the Argentine playmaker is happy with his current deal at the Nou Camp and will not be making any monetary demands.

He told reporters: "Does Ronaldo's renewal affect Messi's contract? Messi hasn't said anything to us.

"He's happy here and he's at the best club in the world. No news is good news."

Rosell is also expecting to deliver good news on Iniesta in the near future, with the World Cup-winning midfielder in discussions regarding an extension to a deal which is due to run until 2015.

He added: "Iniesta's renewal won't be a problem. The wish of both parties is to renew the contract."
