The Cameroon international made a move to Camp Nou in the summer of 2012 after seven years in England with Arsenal.

His debut season can be considered a success, as he landed the La Liga title, but he drifted in and out of the Barca starting XI.

Speculation has suggested that Song could be tempted to return to the Premier League in January, with Manchester United among those said to be keen, but the 26-year-old insists he is feeling settled in Spain and is in no rush to move on.

He told AS: "In comparison to my first year, I feel much better.

"When you move to a new country and have to adapt to a new language, a new culture, it requires time.

"What I have discovered here is that we are like a big family and everyone has welcomed me with open arms.

"Cesc (Fabregas) is like a brother to me. He took me by the hand and guided me through those difficult early moments, and that made me feel better right away.

"Now I understand the language a little more, although I still struggle to express myself. Life's much better and I am very happy to be here."

For now, Song's focus is locked on helping Barcelona to offer a positive response to recent reversals against Athletic Bilbao and Ajax in domestic and European competition.

He added: "We are the best team in the world but we always have to improve.

"Rival teams learn quickly, they work very hard to beat you, but you can't win a match before you play it. We have to show that we are the world's best side and we have to win all of our games.

"It's not a crime to lose a match, it's not as if it's an emergency.

"We are fully aware that we lost, we are professionals, we have great players in the squad and all of us have to start focusing on the games to come.

"We have taken a look at what happened and been critical with ourselves, now we have to look at the future and correct our errors. That's what we do every day in training."

All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
