With Carlo Ancelotti being heavily linked with a managerial role at Santiago Bernabeu, despite Paris St Germain knocking back an approach, speculation as to who he might look to bring in over the summer has begun to circulate.
Pirlo is a man he knows well from his time in charge of AC Milan, and it has been suggested that the World Cup winner would be a top target.
He may now be 33 years of age, but Pirlo remains one of Europe's most highly-regarded playmakers.
He admits to being aware of the Real rumours, but insists there is no substance to them as he remains fully focused on events at Juve - after helping them to another Serie A title.
Pirlo told Radio Capital: "These are rumours which have begun circulating in the last few hours, but I have a contract with Juventus.
"I'm happy here, we are winning things and we want to win again. I don't think there are any problems."
Meanwhile, Pirlo claims he is planning to play on domestically for many years to come, despite announcing his intention to slip into international retirement after the 2014 World Cup.
He added: "I have not thought about retiring.
"I'll evaluate it season by season. When I don't feel myself at the top, I'll stop."
