Adrian: Paying little attention to transfer rumours

The 25-year-old Spain international is one of a number of creative players reported to be drawing admiring glances from the Emirates.

Adrian is, however, fully focused on matters in Madrid, with Atletico and their star turns having grown accustomed to ignoring disruptive transfer gossip.

He said: "I try to isolate myself from the rumours.

"We are used to them and do not take them seriously. I am very happy at Atletico."

On a clause in his contract which could see him snapped up for €18million (£15.1m), Adrian added: "I am happy here and it is my intention to continue here.

"The good thing at the moment is that the team is doing very well. I would like to stay for a while yet."

Adrian also revealed that he is in discussions regarding a contract extension at Atletico, but admits to being in no rush to get something signed.
