Stefano Sorrentino: Chievo goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Inter Milan

Inter are currently fifth in Serie A and nine points adrift of leaders Juventus after suffering a disappointing 3-0 defeat at Udinese on Sunday.

Officials Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio held a meeting with Moratti on Monday to discuss the best way forward, and it has been suggested they could bring in a number of reinforcements before the end of January.

Chievo duo Stefano Sorrentino and Marco Andreolli have been linked with moves to Inter, but Moratti insists there will be no rash decisions.

"We spoke about yesterday's loss against Udinese, but also the future," said Moratti. "We'll make adjustments to Inter.

"But before then let us hope that we get back our injured and suspended players."

Asked about the likes of Sorrentino and Andreolli, as well as Atalanta winger Ezequiel Schelotto and Catania playmaker Francesco Lodi, Moratti added: "They are all good players.

"However, now is not the time to spend a lot of money."
