McDonald Mariga: Returns to Parma

The deal, confirmed by both clubs, sees the Kenya midfielder go back to the Gialloblu for a third time and Parma have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

Mariga impressed for Parma during his first spell at the club, joining in 2007 from Swedish club Helsingborg, and played a total of 62 matches during which he attracted widespread interest.

A move to Manchester City was cancelled when Mariga failed to secure a work permit, but he instead joined Inter Milan in February 2010.

He played 36 times for the Nerazzurri, and was part of the side that completed a famous treble in 2010, but struggled to hold down a place and joined Real Sociedad on loan before a second stint with Parma in 2012 - again on loan.
