Joel Obi: Will spend the 2013-14 season on loan with Parma

The 22-year-old has spent three seasons in the Inter first team, featuring in successful Coppa Italia, Italian Supercup and Club World Cup campaigns.

Obi joined the Inter youth setup at 14-years-old and was spotted by Jose Mourinho, who drafted him into the senior squad where he went on to make 38 appearances.

However, the Nigerian international only made four appearances for the Nerazzurri last season and has subsequently been loaned to Parma.

Parma coach Roberto Donadoni will be hoping Obi will be a catalyst to his side's campaign as they look to improve on a start which has seen them lose and draw their opening two fixtures.

Previously, in 2011 Parma were sold half of Obi as part of the deal surrounding Nwankwo Obiora but the player remained at Inter before the Italian giants bought him back for 3.2million euros in 2012.

However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.

'Tactically Inept And Lacking In Belief And Style'

It's fair to say that the 'Moyes Out' brigade is understandably out in force, whilst there are also staunch defences of Mourinho and Arteta. Plus, Liverpool fans can almost taste it.

That's Why We Didn't Want Jose At United
