The Brazil international caught the eye in what was a mixed season for Lazio last year, with the club finishing a disappointing seventh in Serie A but beating city rivals Roma to lift the Coppa Italia.
Those displays have seemingly caught the eye of a number of top European sides, with speculation mounting in recent weeks linking the 28-year-old with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico.
The Biancocelesti were forced to publicly deny reports linking the player with Milan last month, insisting that he was not for sale.
Hernanes himself, however, suggested his future in the Italian capital is less certain; admitting the prospect of a move to Ligue 1 champions PSG is an attractive one.
"I read interest there could be about me in France," he told L'Equipe. "That is something that makes me happy, to be coveted by a club of such level as PSG.
"But I don't know any contact so far between a French club and my agent."
