Filip Djordjevic: Transfer target for several Premier League sides

Djordjevic is out of contract at the end of the season and a number of sides were lining up moves for the Serbian international in the January transfer window for a cut-price fee.

The 26-year-old has impressed at Nantes since arriving from Red Star Belgrade in 2008 and he has scored seven goals in 13 appearances this season.

A number of sides across Europe are believed to have expressed an interest in signing Djordjevic with Nantes ready to sell him in the New Year rather than risk losing him on a free in the summer.

Italian duo Lazio and Udinese as well as French pair Lyon and St Etienne are all thought to be keen on signing Djordjevic, but now several Premier League clubs are ready to enter the race for the striker's signature.
