Gaston Ramirez: Linked with a move to Fiorentina but Prade says it is not possi

Fiorentina are keen to strengthen their squad in January and have been linked with a number of big names, including Ramirez, Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi and Giampaolo Pazzini of AC Milan.

Whilst admitting he is an admirer of all these players, Prade doubts any of them will arrive when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

"Rossi to Fiorentina? Giuseppe is strong but certain economic parameters are not within our reach," Prade told La Repubblica.

"Gaston Ramirez? He's back as a non-EU player (meaning Fiorentina cannot take him this season). Anyway, we don't need a player with his characteristics now. Maybe in the future.

"Pazzini? I think he's fine where he is but you never know. Giampaolo is a great player."

Questioned on who he would most like to sign, Prade identified Bale but admitted it was an unrealistic ambition.

"My biggest dream? Tottenham's Gareth Bale. He has good feet and physical strength. But it's just a dream."
