Mario Balotelli: Looking forward to starting a new chapter in his career at AC M

The 22-year-old ended an eventful two-and-a-half seasons in England this week when he returned to Serie A.

Balotelli never really settled in Manchester, and was in the headlines for his off-the-pitch antics as much as he was for his achievements on the field.

"It is an honour to play for Milan. I hope I'll stay here as long as possible. I'm here to win as a main player," Balotelli said.

"Now is the best moment to be at AC Milan. My physical conditions are perfectly fine.

"To be back in Milan is important since I'm close to my family and friends and playing for Milan is a dream. I'd rather play than talk."

And the Italy international insists he will have no problem celebrating if he scores in the derby match against his old club Inter Milan.

He added: "I wasn't expecting such a welcoming from fans, it was very emotional. I'd celebrate during the derby if I score."
