Antonio Conte: Not taking anything for granted

Conte, whose side is on course to clinch its third straight scudetto, has demanded full focus from his players ahead of Sunday's match at Cagliari.

Juventus have won their last 10 league games, including Sunday's 3-0 triumph over nearest rivals Roma, while they have lost just once this season.

"Our victory against Roma was a step forward," Conte said.

"But this is all it is. There is an entire second half of the season to go and we must do well.

"These eight points are important but we cannot get carried away otherwise this could affect our concentration and our desire.

"Anything can happen from here until the end of the campaign."

Roma expect to bounce back from last weekend's setback that marked their first loss of the campaign when they take on Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.

The Giallorossi will be without suspended trio Leandro Castan, Daniele De Rossi and Adem Ljajic.

A Roma defeat could see Napoli leapfrog them in the standings.

The Naples outfit beat Sampdoria 2-0 last time out to move just two points behind Roma.

Napoli can expect a battle as they travel to Verona to face a Hellas side that has won eight of their nine games at home this season.

Fiorentina are fourth and go into Sunday's match at Torino without injured star Giuseppe Rossi.

Rossi, who is Serie A's top scorer with 14 goals, sustained a right knee injury and is set to be out of action for at least three months.

Inter Milan have won just one of their last eight league games and host Chievo on Monday desperate to make amends for their poor display at Lazio last time out.

The Nerazzurri lost 1-0 in Rome to fall eight points behind Napoli, who hold the last Champions League qualifying spot.

New AC Milan signing Keisuke Honda could make his Serie A debut in Sunday's match at Sassuolo.

The Japanese midfielder joined the Rossoneri last week on a free transfer from CSKA Moscow.

Sampdoria take on Udinese at the Luigi Ferraris stadium on the back of a 2-0 loss at Napoli.

The reverse in Naples was coach Sinisa Mihajlovic's first defeat since taking over Sampdoria in November.

Lazio's victory over Inter handed Edy Reja a successful start to his second spell in charge of the Biancoceleste.

The Romans will be hoping to clinch their first win on the road this season at Bologna this weekend.

Strugglers Livorno have not won since November 3 and take on Parma in Tuscany desperate to avoid their fourth straight loss.

Serie A's bottom club Catania will look to pick up where they left off in Monday's 2-0 win over Bologna when they take on Atalanta in Bergamo.

The victory was Catania's first since November 9.

I

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. Yes some elements of their fanbase can be a bit OTT, yes they're our biggest rivals and yes it will make our poor season feel even more like the end of an era (Fergie's gone, Liverpool are back on top). However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.

'Tactically Inept And Lacking In Belief And Style'

It's fair to say that the 'Moyes Out' brigade is understandably out in force, whilst there are also staunch defences of Mourinho and Arteta. Plus, Liverpool fans can almost taste it.
