Stevan Jovetic: Would prefer to stay in Italy, says striker's agent

The highly sought-after 23-year old has been linked with a move to Arsenal amongst other clubs, on the back of a campaign which has seen him find the net 13 times.

However, his agent, Fali Ramadani, believes that Jovetic is not too keen on the idea of leaving Italy.

"Stevan would prefer to remain in Serie A rather than moving to a new country," he told Novosti.

One man set to depart Fiorentina is manager Vincenzo Montella and he admitted that it may be difficult to keep hold of the former Partizan Belgrade player.

"I am aware that Jovetic could go away, if a suitable offer comes to us," said Montella.

"He is a great talented player and he may have different ambitions.

"If someone is ready to pay the right price for him then I know there is the possibility of a transfer.

The future of team-mate David Pizarro is also in doubt after his agent claimed he was looking for a move away, and Montella says the news came as a shock.

"Pizarro? That was out of the blue, I don't know exactly what happened.

"We would be sorry if he were to go away, he is a strong player to who we have all given something.

"He reciprocated it on the field, we'll see if he stays, it depends on him."

he reason so much sh*t is written about football is because there are so many people who want to read sh*t about football. Now shut up, take my money, and tell me Ronaldo is going to sign for Van Haal and that Mick McCarthy is signing Peter Crouch on loan.
