Bayern Munich full-back Rafinha has denied suggestions that he is set to make a return to Schalke at the end of this season.

Rafinha: Says he intends to see out his contract at Bayern Munich

Bayern signed the Brazilian from Genoa almost two years ago but, prior to that, he spent years at the Veltins Arena where he caught the eye of Jupp Heynckes.

Rafinha has mainly been used as a substitute this season and, although he has been linked with a move back to Schalke, he says that he is focused on the remainder of his time in Munich.

"I have not thought about leaving, not a single second," he told German newspaper, Abendzeitung.

"I have one year left on my contract and that's how long I will be around.

"At least there will be a new manager (Pep Guardiola) arriving at the club this summer. I really intend to work under him."
