Daniel Ginczek: Flattered by West Ham's interest but happy in Germany

Ginczek is currently on loan at St Pauli and has reportedly attracted attention from a number of clubs following a string of fine performances.

The Hammers are rumoured to have been keeping tabs on his progress as they target attacking reinforcements for next season, but Ginczek says he has no plans to leave for the Premier League.

He would like to forge a successful career in his homeland, although he has not ruled out a move away from Dortmund in the summer.

"It's good to see such a club (as West Ham) pick up an interest in your services, but my immediate future will be in Germany," the 21-year-old told Hamburger Abendblatt.

"And I do not want to be loaned out any more. So far it was the best choice for me. Now I would like to permanently gain a foothold at a club."

Ginczek, who has scored 12 goals in 24 appearances for St Pauli in Bundesliga 2 this season, has a contract with Dortmund until June 2014.

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
