Bernard: Expected to be on his way to Europe this summer

The Brazil international has admitted that he expects to be on the move this summer, and there are no shortage of clubs willing to offer him a ticket to Europe.

Tottenham Hotspur have been monitoring his situation for some time, while Porto and Borussia Dortmund would also welcome the opportunity to add his creativity to their ranks.

The highly-rated 20-year-old is keen to keep his focus locked on a Copa Libertadores campaign for the time being, but is aware that others have already lifted the lid on a possible transfer.

Bernard told Sportv: "I have already said that I won't talk about this, but the president has admitted publicly that there are five offers."

While the talented youngster is keeping his cards close to his chest, those who represent him are a little more open when it comes to the mounting speculation.

Juan Reol, the press agent who assists Bernard's agent Adriano Spadoto, told Globo Esporte: "The Atletico Mineiro board are the only ones who can talk about negotiations, but of course there are offers.

"Dortmund have expressed an interest. Tottenham as well, but since they have signed Paulinho they have gone cold.

"Porto are also one of the clubs, but we have to understand that Bernard won't negotiate during the Copa Libertadores.

"If Atletico Mineiro are eliminated on Wednesday, it is likely that (club president) Alexandre Kalil will talk about negotiations a few days later."

e was right to leave, but not just because of the money City were coming into. If I remember rightly he had a reasonable amount of chances to shine at City, but he never passed the bloody ball. Loads of aimless dribbles and 40 yard shots and not much else. I would say that if he had learnt to be a bit more of a team player he may have done better at City.
