Adriano: Laid low for six weeks with a hamstring injury

Adriano picked up the hamstring problem during Sunday's 3-1 win over Rayo Vallecano and was forced off after 23 minutes.

Scans have confirmed he has suffered a tear in his hamstring which will keep him out of action for six weeks.

It means Adriano will miss both legs of next month's UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Paris Saint Germain.

The news is a blow for Barcelona as they are already missing central defender Carles Puyol for the next two months after he underwent knee surgery.
