Watson: can he retain the Green Jacket? Find out by watching Sky Sports

The first Major of the year, which, as always, takes place at the iconic Augusta National, commences on Thursday and we will show you every monster drive, vital putt and ounce of emotion as golf's best try to snare the sought-after Green Jacket.

Sky Sports 1 HD will bring you live and uninterrupted coverage from the opening round of the Masters, where charismatic American Bubba Watson is the defending champion, from 7pm on Thursday, but action on selected holes will begin behind the red button from 3.45pm.

Coverage will continue all the way through to Sunday's sure-to-be-gripping finale and portions of the play at the picturesque Georgia course, which new world number one, Tiger Woods, has won at three times, will be beamed to you on Sky 3D.

That's not all, though, as we will also show you a live feed of the players practicing on the range on Monday and Tuesday on our red button service, as well as Wednesday's Par 3 Contest around Augusta as the title contenders try to get their eye in ahead of the tournament proper.

Plus, every morning from Friday, Rob Lee and David Howell will analyse the previous night's Masters action and re-enact some of the key shots and costly errors that the field have played in the Sky Sports Shot Centre.

And then on Monday evening, we will look back on how this year's Augusta victor played his way to glory in our special programme, How the 2013 Masters Was Won.

Lastly, the understanding of goalkeeping in still the stone ages in England, so I wouldn't pay too much attention the warm secretions that pundits and various hangers-on, have been emitting over De Gea.
