I'm going for Luis Suarez. I know he has his problems but on footballing terms he was the player of the season. I felt he was the top player from the start of the season right up until he got his ban. I know he might be a controversial pick but I'm going solely on footballing reasons. In terms of consistency he's ahead of Robin van Persie and Gareth Bale.

Signing of the season

Michu has been sensational. I really like him as a player; he's got a great work ethic. For a foreign player to come into the Premier League and hit the ground running, scoring 22 goals - that is a superb return.

Manager of the Season

I would have to say Sir Alex Ferguson because of the manner he wrested the title back from Manchester City. I always think that when you win the league title, you deserve to be called manager of the season. Over the 38 games Manchester United have been very consistent.

Team of the Season

I would have to go for Manchester United again for regaining the title. Wigan winning the FA Cup and Swansea winning the League Cup were massive achievements but neither of those were consistent enough. Swansea haven't kicked a ball since they won the cup! I'm a great believer that the league is your bread and butter and that's why I pick Manchester United.

Underachievers of the Season

Newcastle. They finished fifth last season but lost that consistency. For them to be staring at relegation up until the third-last weekend of the season, they've really underachieved.

Game of the Season

Arsenal's 7-3 win over Newcastle. That was an incredible scoreline. It's not often you have 10 goals in a game; you're getting value for money. And you need that at Arsenal!

Goal of the Season

Technically, I don't think we've seen a better goal than Luis Suarez's against Newcastle. A 50-yard ball coming out of the sky - his chest control was unbelievable. And, all in one movement, he rounds the keeper while keeping his eye on the ball. It was a perfect goal.

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
