Calvin Miller: Celebrates scoring winner

Celtic's Miller was the architect with a dazzling goalscoring performance for Scott Booth's Under-16 side.

Miller's Hoops colleague Theo Archibald was another constant thorn in the England rearguard, while visiting captain, Manchester City's Cameron Humphreys, caused a myriad of problems all night.

Scotland goalkeeper Robby McRorie had watched anxiously after dropping a regulation catch before Chris Willock stabbed into his side-netting.

And Miller soon put the hosts in front after capitalising on a communication breakdown between keeper Alfie Whiteman and captain Humphreys, to collect the loose ball and stroke home.

Miller had a glorious chance to double Scotland's lead before half-time but this time Whiteman tipped the ball around the upright.

And in a nervy second half, Ross McCrorie almost ended the contest for Kenny Swain's England when rising highest from a corner only to watch his header cannon off the crossbar and away to safety.

xcellent! Not sure if he is any good as a manager (never thought about it) but the 'headbutt in the technical area' and what he said to Pelligrini were just brilliant, it was as if he was trying to recreate the end of the Alan Partridge Xmas special when Alan punched a man in a wheelchair and verbally abused Tony Heirs.
