Mark McGhee: Reckons Scotland will pick up enough points to stay in pot four

The Scots are bottom of Group A and without a win in the current campaign as they prepare to face Croatia in Zagreb next week.

And Gordon Strachan's men have to collect two points from their remaining fixtures, which also include home games with Belgium and Croatia either side of a trip to Macedonia, to stay in pot four.

"I think we have the ability to get them," McGhee said. "Whether we will get them in Croatia, I don't know. That would be a fantastic result if we did.

"We've got enough games left and by the end of the summer we will have a stronger squad to choose from and we will still have the opportunity to get those points.

"So, yes, I would expect us to do it."

ah, Fergie is just having another pop at Rooney. He just wants to put him down whenever he gets a chance. Rooney is by far the best English player. Carrick is not far behind, mind. However, by elevating Carrick like that, Sir is having a dig at Wayne. Fergie is well-known for mind games like that. Good to see he's still feisty.
