A Dean Court crowd of more than 11,000 saw the Spanish giants run out 6-0 winners in a game that was played more in the spirit of celebrating Bournemouth's promotion to the Championship than as a competitive work-out.

Ronaldo gave Madrid the lead on 22 minutes when he steered a free-kick past Darryl Flahavan in the home side's goal.

The Portuguese winger had tested Flahavan with a menacing free-kick in the early stages of the game but went one better to score the game's first goal.

Ronaldo doubled the visitors' advantage moments before half-time, seizing on an Elliott Ward mistake to take the ball around the keeper and slot into an empty net.

Sami Khedira then stabbed home a corner with what was almost the last kick of the first half to make it 3-0 to Real.

The Spanish side made four substitutions at half-time and one of the players entering the fray made an instant impact.

Arsenal target Gonzalo Higuain was played in behind the defence and produced a comfortable finish for the game's fourth goal.

Flahavan then pulled off a fantastic save to deny Higuain's powerful shot from the side of the six-yard box before Kaka hit the woodwork with an effort from the edge of the box.

On 69 minutes, Angel di Maria made it five, evading several Bournemouth challenges before placing his shot into the bottom corner from 18 yards.

With seven minutes to go, Brazil international midfielder Casemiro scored Real's sixth, collecting a wall pass inside the area and despatching his shot inside the near post.

t's wrong to be making a joke out of Bender's name at the expense of gay people. It's the kind of childish, uncivilised thing that Football365 would deride and ridicule if it was another media outlet saying. Why is there a need for jokes like this? Does it make your writers feel like men? F365 might suggest that I 'lighten up', but it is genuinely traumatic for people who have been oppressed all their lives to be the butt of jokes, and to be told...

ou can't blame De Gea for wanting to leave, he has enough to do in front of goal as it is as well as taking on the role of Man Utd's version of Derek Acorah in trying to contact and organise a defence that isn't there.

f you want to take six points off Arsenal, then that's a great strike force. Can't imagine either of them showing much for the rest of the season though...
