Chelsea are now unbeaten in seven games following Torres' brace in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Schalke in the Champions League and the Blues are now firmly in control of Group E having lost their opening game against Basel.

"After a bad start we have had the last six points away and that's very important for us," Torres told chelseafc.com. "We have to play Schalke again at home and we're not in a bad position now.

"We can do better, but to win away in the Champions League is not easy. We're building up. There's many more good things to come.

"Hopefully we can see the best Chelsea from now until the end of the season."

Torres says he is rediscovering his form of old having taken his tally for the season to four goals.

"Individually it is the same, the last few games I feel very sharp, very well," he added.

"It's about work, working hard and feeling the belief of the staff, the belief of the players in ourselves and I feel the belief I have in myself. The more important games of the season are still to come."

"We have three very good strikers and hopefully all of us can score goals.

"When I play I hope to score goals and when Samuel (Eto'o) and Demba (Ba) play they have to score as well, so this competition is very healthy."

he thing is, footballers are role models, and children are influenced by them. I watched the Chelsea game with my 6 year old, and at school the next day she stamped on Emre Can.

et again Barcelona try to convince the world that they only play the most virtuous of football. I've never seen a team so willing and able to dish out lumps but feel so self-righteous that no opposition player should ever have the audacity to tackle them.

d love to see a United v Liverpool FA cup final. It would certainly fit the narrative. Obv I'd want the ending to be one of an O.G. and tears as he collects his runner-up medal.
