The Young Lions will play their Scottish counterparts at the Lane on Tuesday August 13, 24 hours before the senior sides are scheduled to clash for the first time in 14 years at Wembley the following night.

The first meeting between the two Under-21s sides in 1977 was also played at Bramall Lane, with England triumphing 1-0 thanks to a goal from Laurie Cunningham.

Next month's international will form part of the Football Association's 150th anniversary celebrations.
