That is good to hear that the squad is in top form, I'm backing them to take out the Europa. I do think though, that if they still had Modric in that central playmaking role they would be higher on the table. He is class. But it is looking good for them, with the likes of Dembele and Holtby warming up that area.

Defoe is 30? God, I feel old now. And qu1rkz: 22 is a relatively good return for a striker. I say relatively as Messi has 39 thus far.

Great to hear about the Team Spirit in the squad...Of course some of this is simply winning matches, but we were winning last year, when Arry's lack of squad rotation left many feeling they were out in the cold and the others simply burnt out...Massive credit to AVB for this. He seems to have not only learnt from his time at the chavs, but from harry's experiances too. His rotation of the 4 center halves has been especially impressive, playing the right men for each game, based on each opponent and in the process has keeps all fresh, keen and focused. I was watching the players warm up on Sunday before the match and the whole spurs team were playing with smiles in their faces. Great time to be on the Park Lane... The sky's the limit boys... JD to come in and kick us over the line this season... COYS

If 16 league goals so far is amazing, what is 22?

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
