The Capital One Cup winners are in the top half of the Premier League table and with their future secure they can already turn their attention to transfer targets.

Swansea assistant boss Alan Curtis admits Michael Laudrup is already eyeing new acquisitions and signings will be made regardless of how impressively the current squad finish the campaign.

"It's important to buy players, irrespective of where you finish," said Curtis, quoted in the Daily Mirror.

"We will have to satisfy the players terms-wise but I would say we'll sign quite a few. We could sign up to six players in the summer if we can."
