Spurs spoiled Stoke's 150th anniversary celebrations as they came from behind to take all three points at the Britannia Stadium.

Adam was sent off in the second half for two bookable offences with Pulis contesting both bookings for the Scotland international, insisting his departure had ruined the game as a spectacle.

"I don't think Charlie has touched (Jan) Vertonghen on the first one and on the second one he's made a mistake by sliding in but again I don't think he touches him," said Pulis.

"It's disappointing because I watch football day in, day out and you see some challenges that don't even get bookings, then you see two challenges like that one today getting a sending-off.

"What disappoints me is there was a full house here for a great day to watch a really good game of football and it has just been taken away from them. The game was then not a game.

"Good teams will frustrate the life out of you and what you mustn't do is get dragged into it and lose your shape and your discipline.

"We're disappointed in particular with their second goal because it was a deflection that let their lad in. That was the little bit of luck we needed that maybe we didn't get today."

Despite the Potters' defeat, their survival in the top-flight is secure for another season, and Pulis added: "I'm delighted for us to be in the Premier League for a sixth consecutive season.

"It's not just what the club have done on the pitch, it's what the club has achieved behind the scenes as well."

arish is the man to blame for this shambles. Pulis must be chuckling into his left over turkey sandwich. I pray this doesn't mean the Neil Warnock media machine will kick in now and he'll be back on the telly box.

e almost found a new way to lose, just when I thought it was getting boring Giroud does that. Although Arsenal are deservedly called 'soft' the entire midfield is out injured. Still must admit MU are managing to win despite a similar raft of absentees. Think the Gunners have good players but poorly coached.
