TEAMtalk takes a look at all the key Opta statistics ahead of this weekend's Premier League action with Liverpool hoping to keep up their quick-fire reputation and Manchester United hoping to sink Sunderland deeper into the relegation mire.

Manchester City v Everton (12.45pm)

Man City have won just two of their last 12 Barclays Premier League meetings with Everton, losing nine.

Everton have won 17 Barclays Premier League meetings with Manchester City; only against West Ham (19) have they won more often.

Everton have the same record after six games as they did in 1986-87, their last title winning season (W3, D3).

Man City have scored eight goals from crosses in the Premier League this season; twice as many as the next best side.

Manchester City have lost a league-high six points from winning positions in the Premier League this season. They lost only seven points from winning positions in the whole of 2012-13.

Manchester City have scored in 53 successive Premier League games at the Etihad Stadium, last failing to score here in November 2010 versus Birmingham City.

Everton are the only remaining unbeaten side in the Premier League this season and have won three successive games in the competition.

The Toffees have not won four successive games in the Barclays Premier League since March 2008.

Romelu Lukaku has now scored six goals in his last five Premier League appearances, despite playing only 220 minutes overall in these matches (a goal every 37 mins on average).

Edin Dzeko has averaged a goal every 197 minutes in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium, well below his record away from home in the competition (109 mins).

Cardiff City v Newcastle United

No side have seen more goals scored in the 90th minute or later of their Barclays Premier League games this season than Cardiff (3).

Newcastle United have won their last six successive meetings with Cardiff City in all competitions.

The Magpies have conceded a league-high three headed goals in the Premier League this season so far.

Loïc Remy has now been involved in four goals in four Premier League appearances for Newcastle (scored three and assisted another).

Newcastle have won just three of their last 23 Premier League away games, losing 13 of these matches.

Cardiff City have lost just three of their 26 home games in league competition since the start of 2012-13 (W16, D7).

The Welsh side have committed only 50 fouls in their six Premier League games so far; a league-low figure.

Papiss Demba Cisse has now gone 12 successive Premier League appearances without a goal for Newcastle.

Should he score against his former side, Craig Bellamy will become the first player in the history of the Barclays Premier League to score for seven different clubs in the competition.

Fulham v Stoke City

Fulham have won four of their five Barclays Premier League home games against Stoke, including the last three in a row at Craven Cottage.

Stoke City have netted only eight goals in their previous 10 Barclays Premier League games against Fulham.

Fulham have picked up only one point in their last seven Premier League matches at Craven Cottage (L6, D1).

The Whites have conceded a goal in 17 of their last 18 Premier League home matches, with their only clean sheet in this run coming versus Stoke (1-0 in Feb 2013).

Mark Hughes managed a win ratio of just 29% in the Premier League at Fulham; below current boss Martin Jol (32%).

Stoke have averaged 426 passes per game under Mark Hughes so far - well above the average under Tony Pulis over his five Premier League seasons with the Potters (280).

Both Stoke and Fulham have scored only four goals in their six Premier League games in 2013-14 - no side has netted fewer.

Hull City have won back to back Barclays Premier League games for the first time since October 2008.

Aston Villa have kept only one clean sheet in their last 28 league games, but this did come in their last away trip in the competition.

Only on six occasions this season has a side won a game despite conceding the first goal - two of these occasions have seen Aston Villa achieve the feat.

Aston Villa have the lowest average possession figure in the Premier League this season (39.9%), Hull have the second lowest (42.7%).

There have been just four goals scored in the three Premier League games at KC Stadium this season, three of which have been scored by Hull.

Hull have the chance to win back-to-back home matches in the Barclays Premier League for the first time in their history.

The Tigers have conceded only one goal in their last four top-flight home games.

Villa have won five of their last eight away games in the Premier League (L2, D1).

Aston Villa have not won three successive Premier League matches since April 2010.

15.7% of Aston Villa's passes have been hit long (35 yards or more) this season; a league-high ratio.

Liverpool v Crystal Palace

Daniel Sturridge has either scored or assisted 15 goals in his last 11 Barclays Premier League appearances for Liverpool.

No side has conceded more goals from set-piece situations this season than Crystal Palace (5, the same as Sunderland).

On average, Liverpool have scored their first goal of the game in the 19th minute this season in the Premier League; quicker than any other side.

Liverpool midfielder Lucas will be suspended for this match after accumulating five yellow cards in his seven competitive appearances for the club already this season.

Sunderland v Manchester United (5.30pm)

Sunderland have won just eight points from a possible 72 in their 24 previous matches versus Man Utd in the Barclays Premier League.

Manchester United have conceded only four goals in their last 13 Barclays Premier League games against Sunderland.

Sunderland have conceded seven goals (half of their total conceded) in the final 15 minutes of Premier League matches this season - a league-high.

Wayne Rooney has scored only four goals from a direct free kick in Premier League history - three of those have come in his last three appearances in the competition.

Sunderland have lost four consecutive Premier League games, the last time they lost five on the bounce was in March 2006 (six games in a row).

Sunderland have picked up just three points in their last 10 Premier League games (D3 L7).

The Black Cats have scored only eight goals in their last 11 Premier League matches and never more than once in a single game during this run.

Chelsea have won five and drawn one of their last six Premier League matches against Norwich City.

The Canaries have scored just two goals in their last five Premier League matches, but both of these have secured 1-0 victories.

Chelsea have picked up just two points (D2 L1) and scored just one goal in their three Premier League away games so far in 2013-14.

Jose Mourinho has won just one of his last eight away games as a Premier League manager (W1 D5 L2).

No player has committed more fouls in the Premier League this season than Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel (19).

Tottenham have attempted more shots from open play than any other side in the Barclays Premier League this term (69).

Andros Townsend has attempted more shots (14 - excluding blocked) than any other player yet to score in the Premier League this season.

Only Roma's Morgan De Sanctis (91%) has a better saves to shots ratio than Hugo Lloris (89%) of all regular goalkeepers in the top five European Leagues so far in 2013-14.

Arsenal have scored the first goal of the game in each of their six Premier League games this season.

Arsene Wenger's side have made a league-high tally of 12 through-balls in the Premier League this season.

No side has seen their opponents booked (15) or sent off (1) more often than Arsenal in the PL this season.

No player has attempted more tackles in the Premier League this season than in-form Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey (33).
