TEAMtalk Likes returns with a run down of some of the things in football which grabbed our attention over the last seven days.

While we here at TEAMtalk Towers constantly have our eye on the beautiful game, we also welcome any suggestions from our loyal army of readers.

Whether it's a goal, save, tackle, Tweet, video, chant, quote or anything out of the ordinary, tell us on Twitter and we'll feature the best ones in next week's TEAMtalk Likes...

Going the extra Mile-y:

Any footballers looking to win the prize for best Halloween costume 2013, forget it, you've already lost.

Rio Ferdinand and Robin van Persie came up with a credible effort, but the prize goes to USWNT stars Alex Morgan and Sydney Leroux for their interpretation of Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke's VMAs performance.

Bravo.

#echteliebe:

A few days before Dortmund tweeted a picture of Jurgen Klopp's newly-signed contract with the simple hastag 'true love', the neutrals' favourite volleyed himself further into the affections of almost everyone with this well-directed effort during Saturday's Ruhr derby at Schalke.

Sounding off:

Seattle Sounders defeated Colorado Rapids on Wednesday in their MLS play-offs knock-out round clash.

The Sounders did it the hard way - keeper Michael Gspurning got himself sent off for this late on - but their reward for victory is a Western Conference semi-final against Cascadia derby rivals Portland Timbers.

The Cascadia rivalry involves three teams - the Sounders, the Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps, who failed to make the play-offs but took home the Cascadia Cup during the regular season.

The Whitecaps' campaign may be over but their social media department clearly has not gone on holiday yet...

Tuned-up 4x4:

Mamadou Sakho has not been at Liverpool long but the defender has already endeared himself to the Anfield faithful - these two Reds in particular.

After the 4-1 win over West Brom last week, Sakho lowered the window of his chauffeur-driven SUV to belt out a quick chorus of a Kop favourite.

Hart-warming:

FAO: Joe Hart. Chin up. It could be worse...

While the England number one was having another nightmare in the Manchester City goal on Sunday, Freiburg keeper Oliver Baumann was making an even bigger show of himself by gifting Hamburg all their goals in a 3-0 win for the visitors in the Bundesliga.

No drama:

Gadji Tallo is clearly a talented actor. When the Ajaccio striker was carried from pitch in apparent agony during Tuesday's Coupe de la Ligue clash with Bastia, Tallo's manager, Fabrizio Ravenelli, was so taken in by the theatrics that the White Feather immediately dispatched a substitute from the bench to replace the striken Ivorian.

Only, that wasn't part of the plan. Having realised that he had been subbed for the good of his health, the now miraculously-recovered Tallo threw an almighty tantrum before reluctantly parking his backside for the remainder of the tie, which his team eventually lost.

اللاعب الايفواري تالو يخدع كل من في الملعب حتى... by elbotolacom

Divine intervention:

Sunderland were winless and hopeless heading in to the Tyne-Wear derby and new boss Gus Poyet will doubtless look to claim the credit for a famous victory on Sunday.

He may, though, have had some help from a higher power...

Thirst for knowledge:

Up there with the burning questions of our time must be: what was Mark Draper's favourite drink? Seventeen years on, now we know...

Long before the days of isotonic drinks and protein shakes, the 1995-96 Villa squad were asked what their tipple of choice was.

Nigel Spink's reply is our favourite - he's old school, is big Spinky. Gareth Southgate, you'll probably not be surprised to hear, enjoys nothing more than a H2O.

Hooray Henry:

Thierry's still got it...

I

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. Yes some elements of their fanbase can be a bit OTT, yes they're our biggest rivals and yes it will make our poor season feel even more like the end of an era (Fergie's gone, Liverpool are back on top). However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

H

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

Wenger hails important win

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.
