The 46-year-old resigned from his position at Ewood Park in September 2012 during a tumultuous near-two year spell at the helm during which Rovers fans constantly called for him to be sacked.

Kean had been linked with the vacant managerial seat at Bury, but will now manage in Asia.

Brunei DPMM club manager Waslimin Momin said: "He will come in November. We want to change our style of play."

Last month Kean blamed his unpopularity with the Blackburn faithful on their disdain for the club's owners, the Venky's.

"I was appointed by the owners and I don't think the relationship between the fans and owners has got any better," Kean told Sky's Goals on Sunday programme.

"Because of that I was getting a hard time.

"There were other sections of the (Blackburn) fans and fans of other clubs who were struggling to get their head around it (the hatred).

"Being in the club that's what I felt. I can count on one hand when we were off it. We had a great dressing room, a lot of the performances show we had a great togetherness."

ow is the time for Allardyce to finally get a chance at a big club please. He is likely to have a number of great offers for his services this summer, but who will he choose? Will it be Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dortmund or Man City?

thought exactly this when the Match of the Day pundits were peddling this line. Is it really not okay for fans of a club to have some ambition these days then?
