The 23-year-old netted his 13th goal of the season on Saturday as Blackburn beat Yeovil 1-0 to move into 11th in the Championship standings.

Rhodes' striking form has once again made him subject of speculation with the January transfer window rapidly approaching.

Recent reports have claimed Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is lining up a move for the striker while fellow Premier League clubs Cardiff City and Hull City are also in the mix to sign the highly-rated Rhodes.

However, despite harbouring ambitions of gracing the top flight, Rhodes insists his future remains in the hands of Blackburn and sees no reason his dreams cannot be fulfilled in Lancashire.

"I love going into Blackburn Rovers every day and I love the club," Rhodes told the Daily Star.

"Until I'm told otherwise, I am a Blackburn Rovers player and happy to pull on the shirt.

"The transfer window is totally out of my hands. It's not a matter of what I think about it.

"Of course it would be nice to play in the Premier League. I don't see why we can't do it this season if we can put two or three victories together and go on a run."

One man who will be delighted to hear of Rhodes' commitment to the club is manager Gary Bowyer, who claims his winning strike at the weekend proves exactly why he is sought after.

"I will never get tired of talking about him," Bowyer said. "The finish was sublime.

"He leads the line up there on his own and never complains. He takes a battering off centre-halves, but waits for his chance and, when it comes, he usually takes it."

he reason so much sh*t is written about football is because there are so many people who want to read sh*t about football. Now shut up, take my money, and tell me Ronaldo is going to sign for Van Haal and that Mick McCarthy is signing Peter Crouch on loan.
