Mile Jedinak: Left to rue Palace's bad luck so far this season

The Eagles lost their opening home game of the season to Tottenham after Roberto Soldado scored from a dubious penalty which led to Ian Holloway receiving a touchline ban for hitting out the decision.

Palace were also on the wrong end of a debatable penalty call in last weekend's defeat at Manchester United, with Kagisho Dikgacoi being sent off for giving away a penalty for a foul on Ashley Young.

Australia midfielder Jedinak admits Palace have been frustrated by what has gone against them so far this season, but believes they must not dwell on the past.

"We have been frustrated with what has gone on so far," Jedinak told the Daily Star.

"It has been hard for us to get any momentum going. Every decision in the Premier League is heavily scrutinised and that's what we are now finding out.

"We don't feel like we have enjoyed the rub of the green.

"But it is important we do not dwell on anything or feel sorry for ourselves as we have had a tough run of games."

Palace host Swansea on Sunday and Jedinak wants them to go on an unbeaten run after picking up just three points from their opening four games.

"The performances have been good without us getting the rewards," added Jedinak.

"We just need to build on that and try to go on an undefeated run now."

I

worry about these types of conclusions on a teams brilliance when it was very clear that Argentina had 4 chances where they really should have scored and on chances alone then it would have been the more pragmatic Argentinians who would be the best in the world. I like the Germany team but this just shows that even with planning it relies on a great deal of luck and finding your opponents at just the right time.

e all know the British public don't have the patience to plan for 14 years. No chance. As soon as our young players don't win the world cup they get harrassed and abused to the point of mental breakdown. No, England likes to react to failure by sacking the manager and tearing up their best laid plans in favour of something shiny and new to keep the knee jerkers happy.
