Sky Sports News Radio host Mikey Burrows hosts this week's Football Podcast and is joined in the studio by TEAMtalk.com's Pete Hall and Football365.com editor Sarah Winterburn to discuss all the latest news from the Premier League.
Di Canio bids arrivederci
After a making a stuttering start to the new Premier League season, Sunderland parted company with boss Paolo Di Canio, and outspoken FanZoner Michael Graham, who joined on the phone, was despondent about his club's fortunes.
That opinion was shared by the whole studio, with Sarah describing the enigmatic Italian as a "League One manager", and Pete feeling structural problems at the club could yet lead to an even sharper decline.
David's derby-day demolishing
David Moyes' Manchester United were taught a footballing lesson at the hands of their noisy neighbours in a 4-1 defeat at the Etihad on Sunday. Mikey highlights how the lack of a game-changer in the side could cost the Red Devils dear, whilst United fan Pete couldn't fathom out how City had it so easy. TT's maverick Mancunian also had stinging words of criticism for Rio Ferdinand and his inability to play three games in a week. Sarah, meanwhile, explains why she believes that Moyes isn't good enough to manage a club of United's stature - simple as that!
Best of the rest
The other weekend Premier League highlights are also briefly touched upon, with our panel unanimously agreeing that Arsenal and Tottenham are not serious title contenders, whilst Sarah cannot understand why Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho continues to overlook Juan Mata.
