Football fans urged to donate kits

Fans are being urged to donate their unwanted football equipment to a charity that donates it to social development projects around the globe.

Kits4Causes is a charity that collects unwanted football equipment and donates it to social development projects around the globe.

Since its creation in 2009 over 16,000 shirts have been distributed to 19 different countries spanning four continents.

Kits4Causes has supported charities such as the Craig Bellamy Foundation in Sierra Leone, the Sodje Foundation in Nigeria, and Kick4Life who are trying to increase the knowledge and testing of HIV and AIDS.

Kits4Causes has received the support off organisations such as Kick It Out and UEFA, and has worked with professional teams such as Bath City, Worcester City and Bradford City Ladies.

The charity is also shortly going to be commencing a massive kit drive with Torquay United.

Head to the Kits4Causes homepage to donate any football kit or equipment you are able to give up, or to make a cash donation or even offer your services to the charity.
